Getting a full dose into a horse is the hardest part of the job. Powders and pastes are mixed into feed, where horses sort them out or refuse the feed entirely, and bitter actives make that worse. Hand-measured doses vary between handlers and between days. Our specialty capsule sizes that are placed directly and swallowed whole deliver the whole dose to the animal rather than to the feed bin.

Feed refusal
Horses reject unfamiliar or bitter actives mixed into feed, and a refused feed means a missed dose and wasted product.
Dose variability
Powders measured by scoop and pastes squeezed by eye vary between handlers, so the delivered dose is not the labelled dose.

Loose powders and part-used syringes mean the person dosing handles the active directly.

Full dose in one unit
A single capsule carries the complete dose, so nothing is measured at the yard.
Administered directly
Placed over the back of the tongue with a standard dosing gun and swallowed whole.
Rapid or slow release
The shell is specified to the client's end application to disintegrate quickly or slowly to ensure the best possible absorption of active ingredients.
Contained until given
The two halves can be band-sealed, so the active stays inside the capsule until it is administered.

Working with us
Supply runs on a private label basis. A customer sends a blend or active specification and a target dose mass, we assess it for fill behaviour and shell compatibility, and we quote the finished capsule in the customer's own packaging.
