Animal health and equine supplement brands supply a finished blend or formulated active to their own specification, and Caballus Nutrition supplies the finished capsules in the customer's own packaging. The company does not compete with its customers on their formulations and does not sell a consumer range of its own. What we contribute is the dose form, the shell system and the filled capsule.

Dose form selection

Capsule size and fill weight are set against the dose mass, bulk density and flow of your blend.

Fill compatibility assessment

We assess the blend for hygroscopicity, particle size, flow and any shell interaction before quoting.

Filling and sealing

Volumetric dosing with light tamping, cap closing and band sealing on dedicated equipment.

Primary packaging

Barrier pack with humidity buffering, printed to your artwork and count.

Programme stages

Enquiry and blend assessment

You send the specification and a sample; we report on fill behaviour and quote.

Sample units and stability protocol

Filled sample units are produced and placed on an agreed stability protocol.

Pilot run and validation

A pilot batch is run on production equipment and checked for fill weight, seal integrity and disintegration.

Volume supply

Supply runs to an agreed schedule with batch records issued against each delivery.
